Jacqui has been a student of Yoga for over 8 years, starting a lifelong journey of self-growth and discovery through the many facets of yoga and meditation.
Initially intrigued and amazed at the depth of benefits yoga poses could bring to the being on deep emotional, physiological, mental, physical, energetic and spiritual levels, Jacqui found a great love of asana while also exploring the sciences of meditation, pranayama and chanting.
Attracted to the wholeness and balance of Hatha yoga, over the years Jacqui has also studied Iyengar, Ashtanga and Sivananda Yoga to now teach her balance of Hatha Flow Yoga with deep awareness on the flow of prana, our vital life force, developed together with inner poise, strength, and grace of classical Yoga.
Jacqui is a member of the Yoga Teacher's Association of Australia (YTAA) and continues to deepen her knowledge and exploration of Yoga by study under senior teachers and visiting experts. Jacqui is also trained under the Radiant Child Yoga Program for specialist Children's Yoga and under the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre, Madurai, India. Jacqui also conducts Kirtans, Corporate Yoga programs and Private Sessions.
"I believe that Yoga truly is a journey within...to the discovery of our true nature, peace and inner bliss. ...A sacred transformational tool to expand our hearts and live with Spirit."
Om Namah Sivaya, Jacqui
Keren Kozak
Keren began practising yoga twelve years ago while at university in Southern England. At first Keren practised yoga to relieve stress and gain fitness but soon she discovered the huge benefits that came with a regular practise - strength, flexibility, calmness and general wellbeing.
After finishing university and moving to London in 1999, Keren continued her practise with an Iyengar teacher in East London and here she fell head over heels in love with yoga and the postural strength that is taught in Iyengar yoga.
Her regular practise led her to travel to India in 2002 where she practised a variety of yoga styles as she travelled around the south of the country and upon return to the UK she moved to Bristol and trained with the Iyengar teachers at Bristol City Yoga. Here she learnt the importance of a holistic approach to yoga, combining the physical asanas with meditation, pranayama, relaxation and karma yoga.
In 2004 Keren moved to Brisbane, Australia and in order to deepen her knowledge and understanding of yoga, she practised a variety of styles including Bikram, Hatha, Vinyasa, Iyengar and Kundalini Yoga.
Keren undertook her teacher training with My Health Yoga in 2007 and is currently studying for the level 2 teacher training certificate.
Keren enjoys sharing her love and passion for yoga with others and her classes reflect her Iyengar training with a strong focus on posture and alignment but also incorporate a variety of yoga styles including Hatha and Vinyasa sequences. Students are welcomed into a nurturing environment where they are encouraged to gently challenge themselves and develop a strong practise and love of yoga.
